This qualification will enable you to obtain immediate legal employment, and will virtually guarantee that you get priority in obtaining a training contract.

Your training contract will be for 2 years. However, this accreditation gives you a high probability of reducing your training contract by a period of upto 6 months. This in turn doubles your earning potential by upto 6 months in advance. Of course any dispensation is at the discretion of the Law Society/Solicitors Regulatory Authority!

Our intensive training programme is primarily involved in obtaining of the Police Station Accreditation qualification but will also cover training and hands on experience of criminal law matters, including: attending clients, file preparation, court attendance and legal aid billing.

The training programme involves all necessary training steps to obtaining the Police Station Accreditation qualification.

Throughout this intensive training course you will receive practical experience of criminal law involving, attending prisoners, Magistrates Court, conferences with counsel and Crown Court hearings.

Practical legal training is a training academy with the specific objective of training legal practice course graduates to obtain the Police Station Accreditation qualification. Run by Mr Ajmal Mian. Mr Mian qualified as a solicitor in 1980 having completed his training contract primarily in criminal law. In 1983 he established Mian & Co Solicitors; which rapidly grew into one of the largest criminal practices in the West Midlands.

The firm has trained in excess of 100 lawyers all of whom have gone on to successful legal careers in private practice, the Crown Prosecution Service and the judiciary. We believe we have trained more solicitors/accredited police representatives than any other legal firm in the West Midlands. The vast majority of the people we have trained have gone onto achieve considerable financial and professional success.
